The RSM technical team combines breadth and depth of expertise to provide the required levels of asset protection and safe operation. This is effected by close vessel monitoring through regular inspections, planned maintenance and regular upgrading.
The RMS has general agreements with many suppliers .We have our own warehouse in Riga located in the port area. Our purchasing team has long experience in shipping business and maritime supplies


TECHNICAL MANAGEMENT
  • We arrange and supervise dry-dockings, repairs, alterations, conversions and keep the vessel to the highest standard, within the agreed and necessary expenditure
  • We arrange the supply of stores, spares and lubricating oil as required; taking advantage of our fleet arrangements providing economies of scale
  • We ensure that the vessel will comply with all requirements and recommendations of the Classification Society and within the laws and regulations of the respective Flag State and trading areas 
  • We provide consultancy and surveyors, as and when required
  • We maintain the records of all costs and expenditures incurred, as well as data necessary for the settlement of accounts between the Owner and Manager
  • We regularly provide technical reports for each vessel 
  • We base our contracts on Standard Shipmanagement Agreements "SHIPMAN 98"  
STAFF
The technical staffs form the core of our technical ship management.
Most of them have former experience in Ship management Company as
Technical, marine and crewing superintendents as well as masters or chief engineers in addition to higher technical education. They have experience from a variety of shipping and offshore-related activities. All our staff is fluent in English, Latvian , Ukrainian and Russian languages.

The RSM sees this area of its operation as integral to its success in establishing and maintaining the reputation it enjoys for reliable and safe service.
The Quality & Safety Manager is responsible for maintaining high standards of quality and safe vessel operation.
The Company has been International Safety Management (ISM) accredited since December 2002 by Bureau Veritas and Lloyd’s Register a members of the International Association of Classification Societies.
